Lumpy Clay

It seems like forever ago that I lasted added a post to this blog. Not because I didn't want to or didn't have the time, just that I really don't know what to say. Does it make sense that my mind and heart can be so "full"and "heavy" that I can't even get it all out? As I set down to type, I don't even want to try. I do know this.....I am in a new "season of life" that I can't even describe. God is exercising is sovereignty over me. I am beginning to understand the concept of the potter and the clay.......I am definitely that big pile of lumpy clay crying out to my Potter to form my innermost being into what He wants me to be....and could we hurry it up a little bit!!

Anyway....on a much lighter note....everything is moving and shaking around here! We just celebrated Easter last weekend. We followed normal tradition and went to Gallatin on Saturday. We had a wonderful time which included kite flying, an easter egg hunt, and dyin' a few eggs also. We went to worship service and Sunday School on Easter morning and then had lunch here with MM, PP, and the Barnhills. Late that afternoon we went to see "Horton Hears a Who" and then collapsed that evening.

That's about it! Carson has been home sick the past three days. I have hated that she has felt so bad, but it has been very nice having her home. She requires so little "physical" care from me now. I guess that is why I enjoy doting on her so much when she is sick.

Well, it's almost 3:30 and Syd and Hudson will come through the door any minute. Yeah!!! It's Friday!!
