Oct. 5, 2009-Assigned as #15 on the "list"
Nov. 5, 2009-Moved to #11
Dec. 3, 2009-Moved to #9
Dec. 9, 2009-Received immigration approval

Jan. 28th, 2010-Officially sent in referral contracts
Feb. 8th, 2010-Court date set for Feb. 22nd
Feb. 22, 2010-didn't pass (MOWA not ready) Rescheduled for 3/8
March 8, 2010-didn't pass....again.....same reason as before.....rescheduled for 3/15
March 15, 2010-Ethiopian judge is waiting for one piece of paper that was left out of our file. Should be on his desk tomorrow and then he/she will give their final approval.
March 16th, 2010-HE IS OURS!!! We passed court!!
March 23rd, 2010-Tentative embassy date of April 19th
March 25th-Embassy date confirmed.....We leave April 16th!!!
April 16th-postponed by one day due to volcano ash
April 17th-left for Ethiopia
April 19th-Gotcha!!

There's a link to it there, Evidence Not Seen by Darlene Rose, And the Word Came With Power by Joanne Shetler, Servant on the Edge of History by Same James (Dad worked with him in Vietnam as a summer missionary before getting married), Mark of the Lion series by Francine Rivers (or Redeeming Love), Don't Waste Your Life by John Piper (Something I want to read, but haven't in awhile), Grace Abounding to the Chief of Sinners by john Bunyan(Tough read but a classic), Biblical Womanhood in the Home by Nancy Leigh DeMoss, Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis. I hope this helps and isn't overwhelming. I've either read these or in the process of reading them. I hope you enjoy!
By the way, most of these books may need to be ordered on line...Amazon or another book company. I ordered some awhile back for cheap. They were used, but in good condition. If you order now...they should arrive pretty quickly.
